Edit PDFs right on the page.

Click any text to rewrite it in its original font, or place text boxes, images, shapes and drawings exactly where you want them. Changed text replaces the original in the file, and highlights and notes open as comments in other PDF apps.

02Questions

Common questions

Can I change the text that's already in the PDF?

Yes. Choose Edit text and click the text. It's rewritten in the original font when the PDF includes every character you type; if not, you're shown which font will be used before you save. The old text is removed from the file, not covered.

Does it work on scanned PDFs?

A scanned page is a picture of text, so there's no text on it to edit. Run OCR on it first to make the text searchable, or convert it to Word with PDF to Word, which reads scanned pages too.

Which languages can I type in?

Changed text can use any character the PDF's own font includes, plus Latin, Greek and Cyrillic letters from the bundled fonts.

Are highlights and notes editable later?

Yes. Highlights and notes are saved as standard PDF comments, so other PDF apps can show, edit or remove them. Text, images, shapes and white-out become part of the page.
